CC50 Stainless Steel Properties, Composition & Equivalent

What is CC50 Stainless Steel ?

CC50 is a kind of ferritic stainless steel with high temperature resistance and strong corrosion resistance. It does not produce scale under 1082 ℃ and is often used in combustion chamber.

This stainless steel is often referred to as super ferritic stainless steel.

After heat treatment, this steel maximum hardness can reach HRC 58. Due to its high temperature resistance, the steel is widely used in blade, bracket, brake disc, large public building materials and other fields.

CC50 Equivalent

446 stainless steel

446 stainless steel is a super ferritic stainless steel

446 stainless steel has good corrosion resistance. Compared with 445 stainless steel, it has high Cr content and low C content. Adding Mo can ensure better corrosion resistance. Its disadvantage is that it cannot be hardened by heat treatment. Its welded pipe has been widely used in condenser.
