SAF 2507 is a super duplex stainless steel with excellent corrosion resistance.
It has many advantages of ferritic stainless steel and austenitic stainless steel. The content of chromium and molybdenum in the stainless steel is very high.
Duplex 2507 stainless steel has high compressive strength, impact strength and high thermal conductivity. These characteristics are suitable for many structural parts and mechanical components. It has a high impact strength and should not be exposed to temperatures higher than 570 ° f for a long time, which may weaken its toughness.
The duplex microstructure ensures high-stress resistance and mechanical strength of 2507 stainless steel.

Compared with 904L stainless steel, duplex 2507 stainless steel(UNS S23750) duplex stainless steel has stronger corrosion resistance to sulfuric acid mixed with chloride ions. 904L is an austenitic alloy, which is specially used to resist the corrosion of pure sulfuric acid
